Draft — pending legal review before launch

This text explains how we intend the service to work. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and will change before launch. Items in [square brackets] are placeholders.

1. Who we are

Opario Talent is operated by [Operating company name], a company registered in [jurisdiction] with company number [number], whose registered office is at [address] (“we”, “us”). Opario Talent is part of opario · intelligent operations. You can contact us at talent@opario.io.

2. What the service is

Opario Talent is an online directory. Specialists based in the Philippines create profiles. Businesses based in the UK can browse those profiles and, with paid access, contact specialists. We are not an employer, employment agency, staffing agency, payroll provider or party to any working arrangement you make.

3. Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 and give accurate information.
  • Business accounts are for businesses with a UK address. Specialist accounts are for people who live in the Philippines.
  • Keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
  • One account per person. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or that we reasonably suspect of fraud.

4. For businesses: access and billing

Browsing and shortlisting are free. Paid access lets you message specialists and see the contact details each specialist chooses to share. We currently offer:

  • Membership — a monthly subscription with a minimum commitment. The exact price, currency, minimum term and cancellation rules are shown on our pricing page and at checkout, and form part of these terms. You can request cancellation at any time; access and billing end at the end of your commitment or the current billing period, whichever is later.
  • One Month Access — a single payment for one calendar month of access, starting when payment succeeds. It does not renew.

Access fees do not include any specialist's pay. A hire is not guaranteed. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we don't store your card details. [Refund policy and statutory rights wording to be confirmed after legal review.]

5. For specialists

  • Creating and keeping a profile is free.
  • Your profile must be honest and about your own skills and experience. Don't put phone numbers, emails, links or social handles in your public profile or video.
  • We review profiles before publishing and may edit your video to remove contact details or shorten it. You approve the final clip.
  • Profiles not confirmed as available for 15 days are hidden from search until you confirm again.

6. Working together

Businesses and specialists agree roles, rates, hours, contracts, tax and payment directly with each other. We don't verify skills, qualifications or work history. An “ID checked” label means only that we checked an identity document; it is not a skills or background check. Do your own interviews, tests and references.

7. Acceptable use

  • No harassment, discrimination, scams, requests for upfront fees from specialists, or illegal work.
  • Don't scrape, copy or resell profiles or use the service to build a competing directory.
  • Don't try to get around paid access, for example by asking specialists to add contact details to their public profile.

8. Our liability

[Limitation of liability wording to be drafted after legal review. Nothing in these terms will limit liability that cannot be limited by law.]

9. Changes and ending

We may update these terms. We'll tell you about important changes in advance. You can close your account at any time by contacting us; any minimum-term payments already due still apply.

10. Law

[Governing law and jurisdiction to be confirmed.]
